Skin aging
Dr. med. Katharina Brüggemann is a specialist in internal medicine and an expert in the fields of aesthetic medicine, anti-aging and nutrition. During her studies in human medicine at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, she devoted herself to scientific research in the university laboratory with the aim of developing immortal liver cells by transfection with replicated telomerase RNA.
In addition to numerous internships and clinical clerkships in aesthetic plastic surgery at home and abroad, Dr. Brüggemann earned a doctorate in this field. After studying medicine, she moved to Berlin to initially practice internal medicine. Her goal was to put her medical knowledge into practice, to cure illnesses and save lives. She focused on intensive and emergency medicine as well as cardiology. In parallel to her work as an assistant doctor, in 2008 she began attending advanced training courses on the use of botulinum toxin and fillers for wrinkle treatment at the Charité University Hospital in Berlin.
In 2013, she opened her first private practice for aesthetic medicine in Berlin and carried out aesthetic treatments there alongside her work at the hospital.
In 2018, she moved and opened a clinic called Capital Aesthetics Berlin on Kurfürstendamm, followed by a skin and laser center in the neighboring building in 2020. With her team, she now offers all kinds of aesthetic treatments on over 700 square meters. -
